The Northern District of Illinois and the Federal Bar Association will present the award to Paula Render, who will accept the award on behalf of the Jones Day team, on May 26, 2010. This award recognizes the Firm's efforts on behalf of an involuntarily - committed individual who challenged various aspects of his confinement. Paula Render, Morgan Hirst, Kelly Marino, and Ryan Hubbard was the team that achieved a settlement resolving the claims, and they were nominated for the award by Judge Matthew Kennelly, the judge presiding over the litigation.
